MINDFUL EATING & EMBODIMENT GROUP
Cultivating Conscious Eating and Body Acceptance Through Mindfulness
This 10-week program will focus on the cultivation of mindful meditation, remediation of habitual patterns of eating, and emotional regulation skills to support mindful eating and mindful awareness in daily life. Group practice and techniques will facilitate awareness of emotional and physical hunger, satiety cues, emotional balance, and will help untangle the habits that reinforce patterns in one’s relationship with food. This group is specifically designed to help those who struggle with emotional eating and/or binge eating.
Facilitated by Starr Kelton-Locke, PhD. Clinical Psychologist with 30 years experience in the field of eating disorders treatment, body/mind psychology, and contemplative practices.
